Camp Trailblazer is in a premium spot, with direct access to the Hatfield McCoy Trails (Devil Anse) from Trail #31! Pull out of the driveway and hop on the HMT or be in downtown Matewan in a matter of minutes! We are less than one mile from downtown Matewan, WV where you have great restaurants, boutique shopping, gas and grocery stores if needed. Matewan is rich in history and the heart of where Hatfield McCoy feud occurred. Take some time to learn more about the town by taking a tour, talking to the locals, visiting the Mine Wars Museum or Hatfield McCoy Cemetery. Matewan is ATV friendly and allows all machines on the road as long riders are obey traffic and road laws. Want to try some different HMT trails? No problem, you can access Buffalo Mountain and Rockhouse trails from our cabin. At Camp Trailblazer, you are not far from some of the best outlaw trails in WV and right across the river in Kentucky, you should definitely check them out!

4 Bedroom Home

Welcome to your Home Away From Home! Our four-bedroom, two bath home is newly renovated and will accommodate up to 8 people comfortably. All bedrooms have flat panel TVs, luggage racks, comfortable beds with new linens. There are two bathrooms, a large laundry room with tons of storage and a fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances and breakfast bar with live edge wood details. Outside you have access to our huge yard, fire pit, gas and charcoal grills and two outside decks with plenty of seating, dining tables and swings. We include wood for the fire pit and a wash station to spray off your ATV, boots, or yourself if the trails are muddy! Please check our FAQ Page for more details!

House Rules We really hope you enjoy your stay at Camp Trailblazer. We want you to have a wonderful time and to come back and stay with us again! To keep CTB looking great and safe we have a few rules: •No smoking is allowed inside the house •Please remove extremely dirty clothing and boots outside before going in the house •Please avoid causing damage to our house or property •Please place all trash in the cans provided •We provide all bed linens and bath towels for your convenience. Please ensure all linens remain in the house upon your departure. Do not use our towels to wipe off dirty ATVs or riding equipment. (Replacement charges may apply) •We do not allow pets •Please be respectful to other guests or neighbors around Camp Trailblazer •Consumption of alcohol is only allowed on the individual house site to which you or your guests are registered. Individuals must be 21 years old to consume alcohol. Drunken or disorderly conduct will resort in forfeit of your stay with no refund given. Reservation Policy •The following policies apply to all reservations and cancellations regardless of circumstances. •We have a three (3) night minimum stay for our house. If by chance our schedule shows two days available between other reservations and you would like to book a shorter visit please call us directly. We may be able to accommodate your request. •Full payment for your house rental is due at the time of scheduling your stay. This amount is only refundable (minus a $50 deposit) if requested at least fourteen (14) days before you are scheduled to arrival. No refunds will be issued without at least fourteen (14) days’ notice. •You must be 21 or older to make a reservation. •Check In: Check in is 2:00 pm. The door code will be included in our check-in email. Please let us know if you are having any trouble and we can assist you. •Check Out: Check out time is 10:00 am. Cancellation and Refunds •If you are unable to honor your reservation, you must call to cancel it at least 14 days before your scheduled check in date. Call us at (304) 953-0185. If you call and no one is available, please leave your name and number so that we can return your call. You may also send us an email requesting a cancellation of your reservation to camptrailblazerwv@gmail.com. Your reservation will be officially cancelled once you receive confirmation via email from our office. •We will issue a refund (minus your $50.00 deposit) within 30 days if your cancellation is made at least 14 days before your visit. Otherwise, you will be responsible for paying the entire amount. Restrictions •The person making the reservation will be charged for any damage to the property or need for excessive cleaning at the prevailing rate including labor and materials. We want to keep these house looking nice for your next visit or for the next visitor so please be respectful and careful!
